How it got here

HUD notified the Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) of the grant award for the ESG program, which included $1,590,749 for the fiscal year 2021-2022.

MOHCD submitted a resolution to the Board of Supervisors to retroactively approve the acceptance and expenditure of the ESG grant funds.
The Budget and Finance Committee recommended the resolution for approval to the Board of Supervisors.
The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution to retroactively approve the ESG program funding.
Mayor London Breed approved the resolution, allowing the City to apply for, accept, and expend the ESG funds.
