Resolution approving Modification No. 3 to Airport Contract No. 50030.01, Vanderlande Industries Inc., to increase the contract amount by $3,862,816 for a new not to exceed contract amount of $16,610,647 to operate, maintain, and repair Airport-owned passenger boarding bridges and baggage handling systems in the domestic terminals; and to extend the contract term by one-year from October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022, pursuant to Charter, Section 9.1189(b), to commence following Board approval.

The Airport Commission awarded Contract No. 50030.01 to Vanderlande Industries Inc. for a three-year term to operate, maintain, and repair airport-owned passenger boarding bridges and baggage handling systems, with a not-to-exceed amount of $5,397,000.

The Airport Commission approved Modification No. 1 to exercise the first one-year option, increasing the contract amount by $4,396,875 for a new total of $9,793,875.

The Airport Commission approved Modification No. 2 to exercise the second one-year option, increasing the contract amount by $3,852,617 for a new total of $13,646,492.

The Board of Supervisors approved Modification No. 2 under San Francisco Charter Section 9.118, in a reduced amount of $2,953,956 for a new total contract amount of $12,747,831.

The Airport Commission approved Modification No. 3 to extend the contract term through September 30, 2022, and increase the contract amount by $4,262,816 for a new total of $17,010,647.

The Board of Supervisors approved Modification No. 3, reducing the increase to $3,862,816 for a new not-to-exceed amount of $16,610,647.
