Resolution approving Amendment No. 3 to the agreement between Cross Country Staffing, Inc. and the Department of Public Health (DPH), for as-needed registry personnel to maintain mandated staffing levels, to increase the agreement amount by $59,711,013 for an amount not to exceed $85,639,013 and to extend the term by two years from June 30, 2022, for a total agreement term of July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2024, and to authorize DPH to enter into amendments or modifications to the contract prior to its final execution by all parties that do not materially increase the obligations or liabilities to the City and are necessary to effectuate the purposes of the contract.

DPH entered into an agreement with Cross Country Staffing, Inc. for as-needed registry personnel to maintain mandated staffing levels, initially valued at $9,840,000 for one year.

The Board approved an amendment to increase the agreement amount by $14,812,390, raising the total to $24,652,390, with no change to the term length.

The Board approved a second amendment to extend the term by one and a half years to June 30, 2022, and increase the agreement amount by $16,088,000 to a total of $25,928,000.

DPH submitted a request to the Board for Amendment No. 3 to increase the agreement amount by $59,711,013 and extend the term by two years to June 30, 2024, due to increased staffing needs from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Budget and Finance Committee recommended the approval of Amendment No. 3, which would increase the total agreement amount to $85,639,013.

The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution approving Amendment No. 3, allowing for the increased funding and extended term for registry staffing services.
