The Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 393-21 urging President Biden to lift Title 42 restrictions that prevent asylum seekers from entering the U.S.
The resolution was referred for adoption without committee reference at the next Board meeting.
The Mayor returned the resolution unsigned, which allowed it to become effective without her approval.
The Clerk of the Board transmitted copies of the resolution to President Biden and San Francisco’s congressional delegation.
