Northpointe Institute for Public Management assigned its rights and obligations under the contract to Northpointe, Inc.
The Adult Probation Department executed the Fifth Amendment to extend the contract term by one year through March 7, 2022, with no change to the not-to-exceed amount.
The Office of Contract Administration approved a waiver for competitive solicitation requirements for the contract extension due to the proprietary nature of the COMPAS system.
The Budget and Finance Committee recommended the resolution to retroactively approve the Fifth Amendment, amending the not-to-exceed amount from $768,950 to $300,000.
The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution approving the Fifth Amendment to the contract with Northpointe Software, Inc.
