How it got here
The legislation originated from a need to facilitate the Mindego Creek Fish Passage Project aimed at protecting endangered fish species.
The Environmental Planning Division determined that the Mindego Creek Fish Passage Project is exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), allowing the project to proceed without further environmental review.
The Director of Real Estate submitted a memo to the Board of Supervisors recommending approval of a permit for the San Mateo Resource Conservation District to enter and use a portion of Log Cabin Ranch for the Mindego Creek Fish Passage Project.
The Budget and Finance Committee reviewed the proposed resolution and recommended its passage to the Board of Supervisors.
The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution authorizing a no-fee permit for the San Mateo Resource Conservation District to conduct the Mindego Creek Fish Passage Project.
The Mayor approved the resolution, finalizing the authorization for the permit to enter and use the property for the project.
