An order was issued mandating all workers in healthcare and high-risk congregate settings to show proof of vaccination or undergo testing up to twice weekly.
A further mandate required all workers in certain healthcare facilities to be fully vaccinated by September 30, 2021.
The Board adopted Resolution No. 425-21 urging the Department of Public Health to set uniform standards for healthcare facilities to comply with the vaccination mandate.
The Mayor returned the resolution unsigned, allowing it to become effective without approval.
The Clerk transmitted the adopted resolution to the Department of Public Health for consideration.
