HUD released the 2021 Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Opportunity, allowing cities to apply for funding to assist people experiencing homelessness.
The LHCB approved the priority listing for the CoC application, ranking project applications based on HUD's priorities.
The Budget and Finance Committee recommended the resolution to apply for the HUD grant.
The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution approving the grant application for an amount not to exceed $59,300,000.
The Mayor approved the resolution, allowing the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing to submit the grant application.
