Hearing on the state of jail health services, including a report on the overall mission and services provided at each county jail; the staffing levels of medical staff, particularly nurses, available to treat the incarcerated population; the roll out of EPIC (an electronic medical record database) and how it's impacted the workflow for jail house staff and the discharge-planning program; and how many individuals are engaged after release; and requesting the Department of Public Health and Sheriff’s Department to report.
