How it got here
The legislation originated from the need to accept public infrastructure improvements associated with the 1629 Market Street Mixed-Use Project.
The Board passed Ordinance No. 242-17, approving a Development Agreement for the 1629 Market Street Project, which included provisions for public infrastructure improvements.
The Public Works Director adopted Public Works Order No. 202513 recommending approval of Parcel Map No. 9640 for the development of the Project site.
The Board approved Parcel Map No. 9640 and two Public Improvement Agreements, authorizing the Director of Public Works and the City Attorney to execute and file the agreements.
The Public Works Director and City Engineer recommended that the Board of Supervisors accept the Offers of Improvements and the Offer of Dedication for public infrastructure associated with the Project.
The Land Use and Transportation Committee recommended the ordinance for passage to the Board of Supervisors.
The Board of Supervisors passed the ordinance on first reading, which accepted the public infrastructure improvements.
The Board of Supervisors finally passed the ordinance, officially accepting the public infrastructure for the 1629 Market Street Project.
The Mayor approved the ordinance, finalizing the acceptance of the public infrastructure improvements.
