Resolution approving the terms and conditions and authorizing the General Manager of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission to execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement and Easement Deed with San Mateo County Flood and Sea Level Rise Resiliency District for the acquisition of a 1,386-square-foot easement for an aerial water pipeline crossing and associated footings and braces across a portion of San Mateo County Assessorβs Parcel Block No. 011-322-200 for $70,000 plus an administrative fee of $3,500 and up to $10,000 in closing costs, for a total amount not to exceed $83,500 pursuant to Charter, Section 9.118.
How it got here
This legislation originated from the need to acquire an easement for a water pipeline as part of the Regional Groundwater Storage and Recovery Project approved by the SFPUC.

The SFPUC awarded Contract No. WD-2878B for the construction of the groundwater well station and associated pipeline.
The SFPUC authorized the General Manager to execute an Agreement and Easement Deed with OneShoreline for the acquisition of a 1,386-square-foot easement for the pipeline.
The Planning Department found the easement acquisition consistent with the General Plan and priority policies.
The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution approving the terms for the easement acquisition from OneShoreline.
