How it got here

Supervisor Peskin introduced the ordinance to amend the Planning Code and Zoning Map for the New Asia Senior Housing Special Use District.

The Planning Department determined that the project qualifies for a statutory exemption under CEQA, allowing for expedited processing.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing and adopted Resolution No. 21613, recommending approval of the ordinance.
The committee recommended the ordinance as a committee report for the Board of Supervisors.
The Board of Supervisors finally passed the ordinance, which was subsequently approved by the Mayor on November 14, 2024.
