OCA entered into a contract with W.W. Grainger, Inc. for industrial supplies with a not-to-exceed amount of $7,000,000 and a term ending on November 8, 2026.

OCA reported that City departments had encumbered approximately $6,046,212 in purchase orders under the contract, averaging $851,508 per month, indicating a need for increased funding.

OCA drafted a resolution to amend the contract with Grainger, increasing the not-to-exceed amount from $7,000,000 to $32,000,000 to accommodate projected spending needs.

The Budget and Finance Committee recommended the approval of the contract amendment to the Board of Supervisors.

The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution approving the amendment to the contract with W.W. Grainger, Inc., increasing the total not-to-exceed amount to $32,000,000.

The Mayor approved the resolution, finalizing the contract amendment.
