How it got here

The first amendment modified meal prices in response to food price inflation, but the contract amount remained unchanged.
The second amendment exercised the first one-year option to extend the contract and adjusted meal prices based on jail population.
The Board approved the Controller's certification for the continuation of food services by a private contractor.
The Sheriff's Office submitted a proposed resolution to the Board to execute a third amendment to extend the contract and increase the funding.
