Resolution approving a second amendment to PeopleSoft Umbrella Contract ID GRP0000007 between the City, acting by and through the Office of Contract Administration (“OCA”), and Treeline Security, Inc. for security guard services, increasing the contract amount by $30,227,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $38,977,000 with no changes to the contract term of August 1, 2023, through July 31, 2028; and to authorize OCA to enter into amendments or modifications to the contract that do not materially increase the obligations or liabilities to the City and are necessary to effectuate the purposes of the contract or this Resolution.

OCA issued a Request for Proposals for as-needed citywide security guard services, which included multiple aggregates for different types of contracts.

The original agreement with Treeline Security, Inc. was executed, establishing a contract with an initial not-to-exceed amount of $8,750,000 for security guard services.

The first amendment to the contract was approved to add roving guard services without changing the contract amount or duration.

OCA proposed a second amendment to increase the contract amount by $30,227,000, based on projected monthly needs for security services.

The Budget and Finance Committee recommended the second amendment for approval to the Board of Supervisors.

The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution approving the second amendment, increasing the contract amount to $38,977,000.

The second amendment to the contract was executed, formalizing the increase in funding for security services.
