Resolution approving and authorizing the General Manager of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission to execute Amendment No. 3 to Professional Services Agreement No. PRO.0096, Mountain Tunnel Improvement Construction Management Services, with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., increasing the contract by $9,500,000 for a total contract not to exceed amount of $34,000,000 and extending the contract duration by five months from July 31, 2027, for a total contract term from July 31, 2019, through December 30, 2027, to continue providing specialized construction management services for the Mountain Tunnel Improvements Project, pursuant to Charter, Section 9.118.

The SFPUC advertised a Request for Proposals for construction management services for the Mountain Tunnel Improvements Project.

The SFPUC awarded Contract No. PRO.0096 to AECOM Technical Services, Inc. for a not-to-exceed amount of $24,500,000 and a duration of eight years.

The Board authorized the General Manager of the SFPUC to enter into the professional services agreement with AECOM.

Amendment No. 1 was executed to include Community Benefits language that was inadvertently omitted from the original agreement.

Amendment No. 2 was executed to correct an error in the Other Direct Costs language without changing the contract amount or duration.

The SFPUC approved Amendment No. 3 to increase the contract amount by $9,500,000 and extend the contract duration by five months.

The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution approving Amendment No. 3, bringing the total contract amount to $34,000,000.
