How it got here
The legislation originated from a partnership proposal to renovate Embarcadero Plaza and Sue Bierman Park, initiated by BXP Embarcadero Plaza LP and supported by the Recreation and Park Department.
The Recreation and Park Commission adopted Resolution No. 2410-004, recommending the Board of Supervisors authorize the Recreation and Park Department to accept and expend grants for the project.
The Recreation and Park Department submitted a memo to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, detailing the grant agreement and requesting prompt introduction of the legislation.
The Budget and Finance Committee recommended the resolution to the Board of Supervisors, moving the project closer to approval.
The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution authorizing the Recreation and Park Department to enter into an agreement for the renovation project and accept the associated grants.
