How it got here
The legislation originated from the need to amend a grant agreement for case management services provided by UCSF to the San Francisco Adult Probation Department.
The Adult Probation Department issued RFQ#APD2022-01 to solicit proposals from qualified non-profit agencies to provide behavioral health and reentry services through the Community Assessment and Services Center (CASC).
A grant agreement was established between the San Francisco Adult Probation Department and The Regents of the University of California, on behalf of its San Francisco Campus, to provide case management services.
The first amendment extended the grant term to June 30, 2025, and increased the not to exceed grant amount to $9,333,302.
The Chief Probation Officer submitted a proposal for a second amendment to the grant agreement to increase the total not to exceed amount to $17,100,000 and extend the term to June 30, 2027.
The Budget and Finance Committee reviewed and recommended the second amendment to the grant agreement as amended.
The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution approving the second amendment to the grant agreement.
The Mayor approved the resolution, finalizing the amendment to the grant agreement.
