Mayor Lurie submitted a communication to the Board of Supervisors notifying them of the nomination of Gayle Tsern Strang for the Historic Preservation Commission, filling the seat formerly held by Ruchira Nageswaran.
The Board of Supervisors received the Mayor's nomination and was required to act on it within 60 days to avoid automatic approval.
The Rules Committee amended the motion and recommended it for approval to the full Board of Supervisors.
The Board of Supervisors approved the motion to appoint Gayle Tsern Strang to the Historic Preservation Commission for a term ending December 31, 2028.
