Resolution approving the third amendment to the grant agreement between Abode Services and the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (“HSH”), for problem solving fiscal agent services, extending the term by 22 months from August 1, 2025, for a total term of August 1, 2022, through June 30, 2027, and increasing the agreement amount by $7,236,514 for a new total amount not to exceed $17,136,514, and authorizing HSH to enter into any amendments or other modifications to the amendment that do not materially increase the obligations or liabilities, or materially decrease the benefits to the City and are necessary or advisable to effectuate the purposes of the Agreement.

HSH entered into a grant agreement with Abode Services for problem solving fiscal agent services, with an initial term through June 30, 2024, and a not-to-exceed amount of $4,642,764.

HSH amended the original agreement to extend the term to June 30, 2025, and increased the funding to a total not to exceed $9,900,000.

HSH executed a no-cost amendment to extend the term by two months to August 31, 2025, without changing the funding amount.

The Commission approved the third amendment to the grant agreement to extend the term and increase the funding.

The Budget and Finance Committee recommended the third amendment to the Board of Supervisors.

The Board adopted the resolution approving the third amendment, extending the term to June 30, 2027, and increasing the funding to a total not to exceed $17,136,514.

The third amendment was executed, formalizing the extended term and increased funding for the fiscal agent services.
