Resolution approving and authorizing the General Manager of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission to execute, on behalf of the City and County of San Francisco, a Memorandum of Agreement with the City of Daly City for the funding, construction, and operation of the Vista Grande Drainage Basin Improvement Project, for a not to exceed amount of $35,000,000, with a duration of five years starting August 4, 2025, through August 31, 2030, pursuant to Section 9.118 of the Charter.

Daly City, as the lead agency, certified the Final Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) for the Vista Grande Drainage Basin Improvement Project, addressing storm-related flooding and water level management for Lake Merced.

Daly City adopted an Addendum to the Final EIR/EIS to include modifications to the project, such as changing staging areas and adding habitat restoration sites around Lake Merced.

The SFPUC Commission approved a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Daly City to delineate responsibilities and commit funding for the Vista Grande Project, aimed at improving stormwater management and Lake Merced water levels.

The Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution approving the MOA with Daly City for the funding, construction, and operation of the Vista Grande Drainage Basin Improvement Project, with a commitment of up to $35 million.
