How it got here
The legislation originated from the need to facilitate the development of the 900 Innes Avenue Park project by vacating portions of Hudson Avenue and Hunters Point Boulevard.
The Planning Commission certified the Final Environmental Impact Report for the India Basin Mixed-Use Project and adopted CEQA findings, which included the associated 900 Innes Avenue Park Project.
The Planning Department confirmed that the proposed vacation of the Vacation Area is consistent with the General Plan and the eight priority policies of City Planning Code, Section 101.1.
