The Board adopted a Final Mitigated Negative Declaration (FMND) and a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for the Fire Department Training Facility project, which included the street vacation area.
Supervisor Walton introduced an ordinance to amend the zoning map for the property at 1236 Carroll Avenue, changing its designation from Production, Distribution and Repair District-2 to Public.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing and adopted a recommendation for approval of the proposed zoning changes for the Fire Department Training Facility.
Public Works issued Order No. 212415 recommending the vacation of portions of Hawes Street, Griffith Street, and Bancroft Avenue to facilitate the development of the training facility.
The committee recommended the resolution to vacate the streets as amended, which was then presented to the full Board.
