Supervisor Sherrill submitted a resolution to recognize the 175th anniversary of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco and declare October 26, 2025, as 'First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco Day'.
The Board of Supervisors adopted the resolution recognizing the anniversary and designating the day in honor of the society.
The Mayor returned the resolution unsigned, which allowed it to become effective without his approval due to the time limit set by the Charter.
