How it got here
The legislation originated from the need to renew and expand the Downtown Community Benefit District, prompted by prior resolutions and assessments.
The Board adopted Resolution No. 295-26 declaring the intention to establish and renew the Downtown Community Benefit District, which included approving the management district plan and setting a public hearing.
The Downtown Community Benefit District Management District Plan and Engineer's Report were prepared and submitted for approval as part of the renewal process.
The resolution authorizing the Mayor to cast an assessment ballot was received and assigned for further consideration.
