DBI completed the Audit, issuing Notices of Violation (NOVs) for some properties requiring permits to abate code violations.
The Board passed Ordinance No. 171-25, creating an Amnesty program to streamline the permit process and waive certain fees for Audit-related NOVs.
The Board referred the proposed legislation to the Planning Department for review and CEQA determination.
The Planning Department determined that the proposed legislation complies with CEQA, affirming the Board's determination.
The committee recommended the legislation for passage, moving it forward in the legislative process.
The ordinance is scheduled for final passage in the Board of Supervisors meeting.
