This legislation originated from the need to modify an existing contract for project management support services for the Airfield Improvement Program at San Francisco International Airport.
The Airport Commission authorized the Airport Director to issue a Request for Proposals for Project Management Support Services for the Airfield Improvement Program, 2024-2029 Phase.
The Airport Commission awarded the contract for Project Management Support Services to AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. for a not-to-exceed amount of $8,600,000 for four years.
An administrative modification was executed to adjust labor rates and overhead rates without changing the contract amount or duration.
Another administrative modification was executed to update a subcontractor’s home office overhead rate without changing the contract amount or duration.
The Airport Commission approved Modification No. 3 to increase the contract amount by $8,400,000, bringing the total not-to-exceed amount to $17,000,000, with no change to the contract duration.
The Airport Commission forwarded the proposed resolution for Modification No. 3 to the Board of Supervisors for approval.
The resolution for Modification No. 3 is currently pending committee action in the Board of Supervisors.
