The legislation originated from the need to reappoint Robin Abad Ocubillo to the Board of Appeals, following established procedures for such nominations.
Voters approved a City Charter Amendment (section 4.101) establishing a policy for the membership of Commissions and Boards to reflect the diversity of San Francisco’s population.
President of the Board of Supervisors Rafael Mandelman submitted a letter to the Clerk of the Board nominating Robin Abad Ocubillo for reappointment to the Board of Appeals.
The motion to approve the nomination was received and assigned to the Rules Committee for review.
