How it got here
The legislation originated from a request by Supervisor Shamann Walton to examine the effectiveness of housing programs managed by the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development.
Supervisor Walton introduced a hearing request to examine the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development’s programs and policies related to affordable housing and public housing residents.
The Government Audit and Oversight Committee referred the hearing request to the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development for further review and input.
