Ordinance amending the Planning Code to designate the Hannibal Lodge No. 1, located at 2800-2804 Bush Street, Assessor’s Parcel Block No. 1047, Lot No. 008, on the north side of Bush Street between Baker Street and Lyon Street, as a landmark consistent with the standards set forth in Article 10 of the Planning Code; affirming the Planning Department’s determination under the California Environmental Quality Act; and making public necessity, convenience, and welfare findings under Planning Code, Section 302, and findings of consistency with the General Plan, and the eight priority policies of Planning Code, Section 101.1.

Supervisor Sherrill initiated the landmark designation for fifteen properties, including Hannibal Lodge No. 1, as part of the Family Zoning Plan Landmark Designation Program.
The Board adopted Resolution No. 174-26 to initiate the landmark designation process for Hannibal Lodge No. 1.
Mayor Lurie signed the resolution initiating the landmark designation for Hannibal Lodge No. 1.
The HPC held a public hearing and voted to recommend the landmark designation of Hannibal Lodge No. 1 to the Board of Supervisors.
The ordinance was received from the Planning Department and prepared for consideration by the Board of Supervisors.
