How it got here
The legislation originated from the need to award a new contract for the Curbside Management Program at San Francisco International Airport due to the expiration of the existing contract.
The Airport Commission authorized staff to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Curbside Management Program by Resolution No. 26-0058.
The Airport received three proposals from firms for the Curbside Management Program, all of which met the minimum qualifications set out in the RFP.
The Airport Commission awarded Contract No. 50447 to SP Plus LLC for the Curbside Management Program, with a total not to exceed amount of $45,000,000 for a three-year term.
The Airport Commission forwarded the approved contract to the Board of Supervisors for approval, as required by the City Charter.
