How it got here
This legislation originated from the need for the Department of Public Health to secure a new lease for its Black Infant Health Program office space.
Westside Community Mental Health Center entered into a lease for space at 1533 Eddy Street, which was later terminated by the Department of Public Health.
The Real Estate Division negotiated a new lease agreement for approximately 1,500 square feet at 1533 Eddy Street to support the Black Infant Health Program.
A draft lease agreement was prepared, outlining a five-year term with annual rent increases, to be executed by the Director of Property.
The resolution was received from the Department of Public Health and submitted to the Board of Supervisors for consideration.
