This legislation originated from the need to annex additional territory to the Infrastructure and Revitalization Financing District No. 1 (Treasure Island) to facilitate ongoing development projects.
The Board adopted Ordinance No. 21-17, forming the Infrastructure and Revitalization Financing District No. 1 (Treasure Island) to finance public facilities and affordable housing.
The Board adopted Ordinance No. 29-22, amending and restating the Infrastructure Financing Plan for the IRFD to facilitate administration and distribution of tax increment.
The Board approved Resolution No. 352-26, stating its intention to annex certain property into the IRFD and form new project areas F, G, H, and I.
The Board approved a resolution authorizing the preparation of the Annexation Supplement to the Infrastructure Financing Plan, pending the Mayor's signature.
The Mayor submitted the ordinance to the Board for adding territory and adopting the annexation supplement to the Infrastructure Financing Plan.
