This resolution urges the Recreation and Park Commission to remove the name "Stow" from the Lake, Boathouse, and Drive in Golden Gate Park and to rename these locations to better reflect San Francisco's commitment to diversity. The resolution has been passed.

Resolution urging the Recreation and Park Commission to remove the name Stow from the Lake at John F. Kennedy Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, the Boathouse located in Golden Gate Park surrounding Strawberry Hill, and the Drive circling Strawberry Hill; and to rename the Lake, Boathouse, and Drive to a name that reflects San Francisco’s expressed values of celebrating diversity.

This ordinance extends the San Francisco Sentencing Commission's existence until June 30, 2026. It amends the Administrative Code to reflect this new sunset date.

The ordinance approves an extension of contracts with the U.S. Department of Energy for low-cost power delivery to Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island, increasing the total contract amount to $41.5 million and extending the term until December 31, 2029. It also includes provisions for the City to indemnify the U.S. against claims and waives certain administrative requirements.

This resolution approves an emergency declaration allowing the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission to contract for repairs on Cherry Lake Road and Hetch Hetchy Road, which were damaged by severe winter storms. The total cost for these emergency repairs is estimated to be up to $20 million.

This resolution allows San Francisco International Airport to issue up to $6.06 billion in refunding revenue bonds to refinance existing debt and up to $60.5 million for fuel storage facilities, among other financial measures. This ordinance authorizes the City and County of San Francisco to settle a lawsuit for $45,000 related to a personal injury claim from a vehicle collision. The lawsuit was filed by Jonathan Valladares in October 2019.

This resolution approves changes to the financial agreements related to the purchase of the Balboa Reservoir, specifically a promissory note and a deed of trust. It allows for the adjustment of terms to facilitate the payment of the $11.4 million purchase price.

This resolution allows for a temporary pause on the time limit for The Mexican Museum to file a lawsuit against the City, in return for the museum agreeing to dismiss the case without prejudice. This means the museum can potentially refile the lawsuit later if needed.

This resolution urges the San Francisco Department of Human Resources to consider matching recruitment bonuses offered by competing law enforcement agencies to attract new police officers and sheriff deputies. It also calls for the Police Commission and Sheriff’s Department Oversight Board to create staffing plans to meet recommended staffing levels and improve recruitment efficiencies.

Resolution urging the San Francisco Department of Human Resources to explore ways to adopt policies to match top recruitment bonuses offered by law enforcement agencies in Northern California that compete for new and laterally hired police officers and sheriff deputies; urging the Police Commission and Sheriff’s Department Oversight Board to develop sworn staffing plans to achieve recommended full-duty police and sheriff staffing levels; and urging continued improved efficiencies in the recruitment and hiring of prospective San Francisco Police Department officers and San Francisco Sheriff’s Department Deputies.

This ordinance changes the Park Code by reducing the number of seats on the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Advisory Committee, allowing for alternate members, and permitting longer service terms. It also ensures that members have relevant experience in environmental justice, racial equity, and disability issues, and mandates that meetings be held at City Hall.

This ordinance allows the Recreation and Park Commission to apply the Park Code to certain properties that the Recreation and Park Department leases or operates for recreational activities. It aims to ensure that these properties are managed according to the same rules as other parks.

This ordinance requires the City Controller to create a base budget for each City agency to help them prepare their two-year budgets, including expected cost increases for nonprofit agreements due to inflation. It also establishes a policy for departments to issue multi-year grants when a program will last longer than one year.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to require the Controller to prepare an initial base budget to guide each City agency in preparation of its proposed two-year budget; to provide that these base budgets must include anticipated cost increases in agreements with nonprofit organizations to reflect inflation; and to adopt a City policy that departments will enter into multi-year grants when the need for a grant program will extend beyond a single year.

This ordinance allows the Real Estate Division to approve changes to certain leases related to affordable housing projects, based on recommendations from the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development. It specifically addresses adjustments to residual rent payments and protections for lenders involved in these projects.

Ordinance delegating Board of Supervisors approval authority under Charter, Section 9.118 and Administrative Code, Section 23.30 to the Real Estate Division, based on the recommendation of Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (“MOHCD”), to amend certain existing leases regarding residual rent payments and lender protections for 100% affordable housing projects.
