This resolution allows the Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families to use a $500,000 grant from David and Katherine deWilde for math and literacy programs in community and school organizations during the Summer Together Program from June to September 2022. It was passed retroactively to authorize the funding after the program had already taken place.

This ordinance removes the $50 surcharge on civil, family, or probate court filings in San Francisco that was previously used to fund courtroom projects. The change means residents will no longer pay this additional fee when filing these types of cases.
