It also allows the Airport Commission to make minor amendments to the contract as needed.

This ordinance authorizes the City and County of San Francisco to settle a wrongful death lawsuit for $1.5 million related to a vehicle collision. The lawsuit was filed by the guardians of Gabriel and Isaiah Perez on March 16, 2023.

This ordinance changes the expiration date of the Mental Health SF Implementation Working Group from September 1, 2026, to the date this ordinance takes effect. This means the group will continue to operate without a set end date.

The ordinance moves various employment-related rules, such as Prevailing Wage and apprenticeship requirements, from the Administrative Code to the Labor and Employment Code, while also updating enforcement procedures and definitions. It eliminates some exemptions for certain types of work and introduces new exemptions for Modular Furniture Installers.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code and Labor and Employment Code to move certain employment-related provisions, including, among others, certain Prevailing Wage requirements, apprenticeship requirements, and hours and days of labor requirements, from the Administrative Code to the Labor and Employment Code; establish new defined terms encompassing the projects and contracts subject to Prevailing Wage requirements; revise penalty and enforcement requirements and procedures for Prevailing Wage and certain other labor requirements; change the process for fixing and determining Prevailing Wage rates; move and revise the Transition Employment requirements and create new enforcement procedures for those requirements; apply Notice of Forfeiture/Certification of Forfeiture procedures for violations of Prevailing Wage requirements on Covered Real Estate Projects; renumber certain Municipal Code sections or provisions; and make other substantive or technical amendments to the Administrative Code and Labor and Employment Code, including, among others, eliminating certain exemptions from Prevailing Wage requirements for Broadcast Services work and the work of loading and unloading Commercial Vehicles on City property, while creating an exemption from Prevailing Wage requirements for work covered by the Modular Furniture Installers (Carpenters) classification.

This ordinance changes the reporting schedule for the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, reducing the frequency of reports on 100% Affordable Housing from quarterly to semi-annually starting July 31, 2025. It aims to streamline reporting processes while still keeping the Board of Supervisors and Mayor informed.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to end certain quarterly reporting requirements by the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development to the Board of Supervisors and Mayor regarding the development of 100% Affordable Housing, and to establish new semi-annual reporting requirements beginning on July 31, 2025.

This resolution approves a long-term agreement among several transportation authorities and the City of San Francisco to implement Phase 2 of the Transbay Program, known as "The Portal." It also confirms that the Planning Department has complied with environmental regulations for this project.

The ordinance amends various city codes to eliminate certain fees and raise the gross receipts threshold for fee reductions if voters approve Proposition M in 2024. It also extends waivers and suspensions for certain business fees and modifies provisions related to license fees.

Ordinance amending the Business and Tax Regulations Code, Administrative Code, Health Code, Police Code, and Public Works Code to make the following changes if the voters approve Proposition M in the November 5, 2024, election: 1) eliminate certain fees beginning in 2026, and 2) increase the gross receipts threshold from $2,500,000 to $5,000,000 for reductions to annual curbside shared spaces fees beginning in 2026; and to make the following additional changes regardless of whether the voters approve Proposition M: 3) extend indefinitely the waiver of business location and device fees for businesses with taximeter devices; 4) extend indefinitely the suspension of the registration certificate and fee requirements for taxi drivers and drivers for transportation network companies; 5) authorize the Tax Collector to collect certain additional license fees on the unified license bill; and 6) amend the delinquency date and penalty provisions and add interest provisions relating to license fees collected on the unified license bill.

The ordinance authorizes the City and County of San Francisco to settle a lawsuit for $195,000 related to property damage from flooding. The lawsuit was filed by Annamarie Faro and Howard Kevin White in November 2023.

This ordinance updates the Surveillance Technology Ordinance by simplifying reporting requirements and clarifying what counts as surveillance technology. It also shifts the responsibility for creating surveillance policies to the departments using the technology and requires the Committee on Information Technology to report on existing surveillance technology awaiting policy approval.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to revise the Surveillance Technology Ordinance by, among other things, reducing administrative burdens associated with reporting requirements; clarifying certain exceptions to the definition of “Surveillance Technology;” transferring the responsibility of creating or amending a Surveillance Technology Policy from the Committee on Information Technology (COIT) to the departments using such technology; and adding a reporting requirement for COIT regarding existing Surveillance Technology still awaiting approval of a Surveillance Technology Policy.

This ordinance creates a system for tracking and publicly sharing information about the artificial intelligence tools used by the City, including requirements for reporting and enforcement. It aims to increase transparency and accountability regarding AI usage in city operations.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to establish a process for creating a publicly available inventory of Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) the City uses, reporting requirements, and enforcement measures.

This ordinance establishes a City policy to offer up to five years of rapid rehousing assistance to eligible households at risk of homelessness. It also mandates the Homelessness Oversight Commission to conduct annual hearings and reports on the implementation of this policy.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to declare that it is City policy to provide up to five years of rapid rehousing assistance to an eligible household where the City has assessed the household’s circumstances and concluded that a shorter-term subsidy will create a risk of returning to homelessness; and requiring the Homelessness Oversight Commission to hold an annual hearing and issue an annual report analyzing the City’s implementation of this rapid rehousing policy.

This resolution allows the City and County of San Francisco to treat the Stage 2 Contribution for the Treasure Island Infrastructure and Revitalization Financing District as city debt. It also addresses related administrative matters.

This ordinance establishes the Cole Valley Entertainment Zone, allowing events on specific streets without needing a special permit from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. It also confirms that the Planning Department's environmental review complies with state law.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to create the Cole Valley Entertainment Zone on Cole Street, between Frederick Street and Parnassus Avenue, and on Carl Street, between Shrader Street and Clayton Street; to delete the requirement that an Entertainment Zone Event be a special event permitted or licensed by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control; and affirming the Planning Department’s determination under the California Environmental Quality Act.

This ordinance prohibits the City from giving funds or resources to certain nonprofit organizations (501(c)(4) organizations) and restricts 501(c)(3) organizations that work with the City from sharing any City resources or personal information with 501(c)(4) organizations. It also requires 501(c)(3) organizations to confirm that they will comply with these restrictions when receiving City support.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to prohibit the City from providing City funds or resources to any organization established under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code (“501(c)(4) organization”); to prohibit any organization established under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (“501(c)(3) organization”) that contracts or subcontracts with the City from providing funds or resources obtained from the City, or anything of value, including personal contact information, obtained using such City funds or resources, to any 501(c)(4) organization; and to require City Departments that provide City funds or resources to, or co-sponsor a community event with, a 501(c)(3) organization to obtain an attestation from the 501(c)(3) organization that it shall not provide City funds or resources, or any personal contact information obtained in connection with the event or with the use of City funds or resources, to any 501(c)(4) organization.

This ordinance changes the reporting requirements for city-funded nonprofit organizations, applying them only to those receiving over $1,000,000 annually. It also reduces the amount of information they must provide and allows for redaction to protect personal information.

This resolution allows the Port of San Francisco to accept a $55,386,000 grant from the EPA to develop an emissions-free ferry system along the waterfront, pending approval from the Port Commission. The funding will support the project from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2028.

This resolution allows the Department of Technology to amend its agreement with SSP Data Inc. to buy Palo Alto Software Products and extends the contract for three additional years, totaling a period from June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2029, with a maximum budget of $40 million.

The ordinance reduces how often the Shelter Monitoring Committee visits shelters and sets criteria for when additional visits are needed based on complaints. It also updates shelter standards, including requirements for shower facilities and sleeping arrangements, and changes the complaint process and eligibility for committee membership.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to reduce the frequency of Shelter Monitoring Committee (“Committee”) site visits; require the Committee to establish in its bylaws the threshold number of complaints or out-of-compliance findings during a year that would trigger additional site visits; revise eligibility criteria for Seat 1 on the Committee; revise the Standards of Care for City Shelters by establishing requirements for shower stalls with working hot and cold water controls, minimum passing space for sleeping units that are not up against a wall or partition, and signage posting regarding availability of translation services; eliminate the minimum shelter stay requirement for single adult reservations; revise the complaint process and investigation procedure; and update several programmatic terms.

This resolution extends a contract with Professional Business Providers, Inc. for airport services by two years and increases the total contract amount by over $13 million, bringing it to approximately $26.5 million. It also allows the Airport Commission to make minor adjustments to the contract as needed without significantly increasing the city's obligations.

This resolution allows the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission to hire Consor PMCM, Inc. for construction management services related to the new City Distribution Division Campus at 2000 Marin, with a budget of up to $10,720,500 over a period of four years and three months. The contract will run from February 2025 to April 2029.

This resolution extends the lease for Treasure Island from December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2025, allowing the Treasure Island Development Authority to manage the land and structures. It also gives the Treasure Island Director the authority to make minor amendments to the lease that do not significantly increase costs or liabilities for the city.

This motion establishes the regular meeting schedule for the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 2025, including the cancellation of specific meetings and breaks during which no meetings will occur. It also modifies certain rules to facilitate the meeting schedule.

The ordinance aimed to create an Office of Citywide Food Coordination to tackle food insecurity in San Francisco and required a Food Security Report every five years. It also proposed to dissolve the Food Security Task Force a year earlier than originally planned, but the ordinance has been killed.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to establish an Office of Citywide Food Coordination (“OCFC”) within the Human Services Agency, charged with coordinating citywide efforts to address food insecurity among San Francisco residents, preparing a Food Security Report every five years that examines the scope of food insecurity among San Francisco residents, and seeking the input of community organizations and other City departments to inform the Food Security Report and the OCFC’s efforts; and dissolving the Food Security Task Force on July 1, 2025, instead of July 1, 2026.

This ordinance allows the Tax Collector to issue refunds for property taxes directly to the property owner if the refund amount is under $10,000 and the property has not changed ownership during the relevant fiscal year. It amends the Administrative Code to streamline this process.

Ordinance amending the Administrative Code to authorize the Tax Collector to refund property taxes to the assessee or latest recorded owner of the property if the amount of the refund is less than $10,000 and there has been no transfer of the property during or since the fiscal year for which the taxes to be refunded were levied.
